We have been forced to relaunch our campaign to save the Triple Lock because of the refusal of the Government to guarantee that it will be implemented in full this year, despite previous promises. It is outrageous that an 8.5 % rise on the small basic state pension is being questioned, when food and energy prices are rising much faster than this.
