The country is on a downward spiral with collapsing public services, declining living standards and pensions under constant attack. Yet again there are reports that the triple lock is under scrutiny and an accelerated rise in the state pension age is being considered. The differential between the old and new state pensions gets worse each year and the 1950s women have still not received their due compensation. This weak Government is unable to meet the challenges the UK faces.
To prevent damage getting even worse, Silver Voices is calling for a General Election in 2023 so that all parties can lay out their solutions before the electorate and a new Government can be elected with a fresh policy mandate.
