Those who rely on the triple lock to maintain a decent standard of living are also those most likely to rely on Freeview TV and aerial radio for public information, company and entertainment. Freeview is under threat from internet based communications and streaming services, and may be squeezed out of existence in the next few years. Unless the Government acts now, access to TV and radio will be limited to those with expensive super-fast broadband connections.
