We, the undersigned, call on the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) and all relevant authorities to:

Enact clear legislation protecting the Right to Charge for residents in stratified buildings
Require JMBs/MCs to provide a standard, transparent approval process
Encourage infrastructure upgrades in existing condos via subsidies or tax breaks
Include EV charging rights in the Strata Management Act and Uniform Building By-Laws
The current situation blocks thousands of Malaysians from switching to electric vehicles, despite the government’s push for cleaner mobility.

A sustainable Malaysia must include fair, accessible charging for all — not just those in landed homes.
