Notice of Intended Disposal of Open Space Land at Park Avenue, Glapwell

As landowners Bolsover District Council have made it public of their intention to sell the Ransom Strip at the end of Park Avenue in Glapwell. It's on their website and in the paper version of Thursdays Derbyshire Times.  Comments are invited to be sent to Chris Fridlington at BDC. If you can continue to support us pls can you send comments as you why this Asset of Community Value should be maintained in its existing natural state. It's a home for various wildlife, including bats, butterflies and bees.  I've spent several summer evenings surveying the bats.   It has been used by adults and children over this weirdly disjointed summer holiday time as plans have been disrupted & changes have been made.  If offers peace and solace to both the environment and residents alike.
