In south-west Delhi, a group of men ganged up on a pregnant street dog and bludgeoned her to death. The accused are thought to be Don Bosco Technical Institute students from Okhla. A video shows the mob of students torturing the dog, killing her, and dragging her lifeless body across the field.
The disturbing video depicts the group of male students cornering the dog inside a tin shed on the institute's campus. A student can be seen outside the shed with a rod in his hand, with the other students cheering him on and saying "Kill her man....Kill". Later, one of the students was seen dragging the dog across the field and abandoning it. A sad day for humanity, it deeply saddens me to see that amongst the 20 people present there not one felt any sort of empathy towards the pregnant dog. These students must be made aware of their crime and must be strictly punished for it. The students seen in the video participated in a dreadful crime like that but showed little to no human emotions. It can also be seen that the pregnant dog was still breathing after being dragged to the field. The helpless dog died a slow and painful death. It scares me to see the kind of youth we have in this country and it really worries me to think about the kind of individuals they will become in the future. Today, I really hope to get justice for the dog. I also insist that the laws for animals must be a priority and anyone found to be guilty of violating any animal must be dealt with very strictly.
