As I’m typing this update we are fast approaching 5,000 signatures in under 5 days—WOW!

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping our collective voices to be heard and extend an especially loud shout-out to all those who have donated money to promote this petition.  I know this is a scary and uncertain time for everyone and the hospitality community especially has been one of the hardest hit.  So, to even see $1, $5, and $10 donations means everything.

I have personally been contacting representatives at various trade-groups that have direct lines of communication with decision makers in Lansing and hope to gain further support in the days leading up to the public MLCC meeting on 4/15. I should have updates to share with all of you very soon on this.

In the meantime, please please please, KEEP SHARING and reaching out to any media contacts you have. Adding a personal touch makes all the difference when you make a post on social media.  Tell your audience why this issue is important to you. THIS STUFF WORKS!

Let’s show the governor how much this would help struggling businesses and get some action out of Lansing before it’s too late.
