Many of us saw The Town Hall on TV this evening

Facebook and social media lit up tonight as Lt. Governor Dan Patrick once again humiliated our State. To hear him tell anyone that "words matter" was astonishing, since his words have been anything but supportive of any group that does not serve his small base. In fact, he misquoted the President and once again manipulated a potentially positive move in the right direction towards the citizens of Texas engaging in some empathy and understanding. Lt. Governor Patrick has consistently used hateful language towards so many of our neighbors. He has ignored data and fails to show any ability to represent everyone in this state. Your making time to share this petition is a statement. We are seeing friends from both sides of the aisle say enough and our state deserves a better voice, regardless of the political party.
