Quick update for everyone, to which we'll be responding fully in due course; last Wednesday (24th October 2018), the Charter of Trustees met in secret with representatives of the Belvoir Hunt to discuss this fox hunt's traditional meet at Grantham's St Peter's Hill. We're not sure entirely what was discussed, since the recording of the meeting (conveniently) failed, but the consequence of the meeting is that the hunt has once again been invited to Grantham. This is despite the convictions for theft, criminal damage, grievous bodily harm, actual bodily harm and for animal welfare offences along with multiple investigations into illegally hunting & killing foxes in Leicestershire.

Councillor Ashley Baxter concisely sums up this decision, why it is an insult to democracy and the residents of Grantham opposed to both crime and bloodsports; see it below.

Don't forget that we will be protesting the Boxing Day meet - please join us!
