Hi everyone, I hope you're well. It's been a month since the Ukraine invasion and the situation on-the-ground is as desperate as ever. It's being reported that Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy will be addressing the Australian Parliament tonight.

While Russia is believed to be scaling back troops in Kyiv, most commentators see that not as a de-escalation but a re-positioning of troops. I'm concerned for all the innocent people trapped in a war they don't want.

I'm hopeful after last night's Budget announcement of additional humanitarian places for Afghans that there is hope for a a special intake of Ukrainian refugees too.
