A year after my petition had launched, we have reached thousands of signs, and donations. The petition had made the Advertiser, and the news last year too. While there is still alot of work to be done to ensure safer roads in SA, this was a good start to raising more awareness. 

Thank you everyone who had signed and supported this petition. While im proud of the progress that has taken off with the petition launched late may last year, there is still a long way to go in ensuring a result. 

For now, I want to claim this petition as a small victory towards a change, to protect and ensure safety on country roads, starting with the Dukes hwy. There is definitely going to be a long road ahead in upgrading the dukes, but im positive a change will come with the time and persistence of those who want a change!
