Firstly on a personal note; Kelly and Grace's wedding on 16th June was wonderful, and the girls are Mrs and Mrs Abel-Hall at long last.

Widows Pension For Life - Update

"We continue to progress our legal claim through the Court, and we have issued our Claim seeking leave to commence Judicial Review Proceedings. We also effected service of the proceedings on both the Secretary of State and the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis. The Secretary of State and the Commissioner of the Metropolis now must respond to our application. Almost certainly the Secretary of State will resist our application, setting out her Grounds for Resistance in the documentation that will be filed at Court and at the same time, served on us. Once the Court have the Acknowledgments from both the Secretary of State and the Commissioner, the papers will be given to a Hight Court Judge to determine whether leave can or should be given for the Applications to proceed to a full Hearing 'on the papers'."
