NARPO CEO Steve Edwards has sent us this update:

“We can now confirm that the proceedings will now continue by way of Judicial Review Applications on behalf of three Claimants.

The claims will be determined and adjudicated upon by the Court on their merits and without any regard to technical procedural or associated time issues.

The Secretary of State and Metropolitan Police Commissioner now have 21 days to respond to our application, setting out the Grounds for Resistance in the documentation that will be filed at Court. Once the Court have the Acknowledgments from both The Secretary of State and The Metropolitan Police Commissioner, the papers will be given to a High Court Judge to determine whether or not leave can or should be given for the Applications to proceed to a full Hearing.”

Things appear to be moving along.
