Morning ladies and gents, I am planning the annual visit to parliament on Wednesday October 26th to lobby our MPs. We won’t have an itinerary until I have an idea who will be attending and whose MPs are willing to meet with them on the day. Obviously the more people that attend the better but MPs are our first priority – if we have no one to lobby we don’t get in! Although they as rare as hen’s teeth it is always worth asking your MP if they can obtain tickets for PMQs. It is customary for your MP to give you a tour of parliament and it is a truly fascinating place. Our visits to London have been very successful in the past not least because they have attracted attention from the media. We mustered 32 folks for the Adjournment Debate and we really need to increase attendance with each visit – we can’t be seen to be losing interest or momentum.
