As a lifelong fan of Manchester United, I hold deep respect and admiration for the history of Old Trafford. This iconic stadium is more than just a football ground; it's a monument to the legends who have graced its pitch - Edwards, Best, Charlton, Law, Robson, Cantona, Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Ronaldo and Rooney. The stories these walls could tell would echo with the cheers of victories past.

Old Trafford has been home to Manchester United since 1910 and has seen the club rise to become one of the most successful in English football history. It is not just an emblem for our club but also an integral part of British football heritage. Preserving it with Grade 2 listed building status will ensure that future generations can appreciate its historical significance.

However currently there is no such protection in place for this iconic structure which has stood as a testament to British sportsmanship and spirit for over a century.

We urge Historic England and relevant authorities to recognize Old Trafford’s cultural importance by granting it Grade II listed status. This will not only preserve its physical structure but also safeguard its rich history from being lost or altered beyond recognition.
