Glebe Collegiate spending money poorly

Rather than spending school budget on cooling/air conditioning for their students Glebe Collegiate Institute has decided to spend it in hard wood floors for classrooms that already have more modern flooring. Hardwood floors are problematic due to expansion during humidity and costly maintenance. More hardwood floors will be impractical compared to the flooring that is in place in some classrooms already. The only purpose of this spending is for aesthetic. If Glebe Collegiate has money for aesthetics, they have money for student well being and are choosing to spend their budget poorly and prioritize appearance over the well-being of their students. For such a prestigious school there are so many complaints from students. We need get Glebe’s priorities strait and do something about student well-being before spending budget on solely aesthetic purpose renovations.
