Request for Fair Voting Processes at Woking Blackhawks Club

Hello Blackhawks Family,

The families and children of Woking Blackhawks Club are directly affected by decisions made at the club’s AGM and committee meetings. 

The way voting was handled during the AGM on Monday 28 July has left many members feeling their voices were not heard, and has raised concerns about how decisions that shape our children’s experience at the club are made.

If these concerns remain unaddressed, members may lose trust in the club’s leadership, and future decisions could continue to be made without fair participation from all. This risks undermining the spirit of community and fairness that benefits all children and families involved.

It is important to act now to address these issues, as quick and fair resolution will help restore trust and ensure everyone is included in important decisions.

We ask the Chairman and Executive Leadership to review the voting process, declare the recent vote void, and set up a transparent and inclusive re-vote so that all members can participate.

I want to be clear that I am not trying to take over, but simply to give a collective voice to the disappointment felt by many club members, so we can achieve the same outcome—fairness.
