Although he’s never acted in a movie, 16 year old Cameron Golden’s work in roles he’s portrayed at various schools was something to behold. While most people never took their own porformances seriously, Golden made sure to always come at his roles with 100%. 

 

At the age of six, Cameron Golden found his new love for acting, acting out entire movie scripts over the years while growing up. Eventually he got the opportunity to act in front of a live audience while he was in the 4th grade. Upon finishing his work, this caused the sparks of wanting to be an actor to become raging flames. He would not stop reaching for the job.

In 2023, it was announced that The Legend of Zelda would get a live action adaptation, this news brought an idea to 15 year old Cameron Golden. He decided that even though he’s never taking acting classes, nor has he been in any movies or shows, that he would try his absolute hardest to reach for the role of Link.

There’s much more to it than the fact that he just wants the role, but because he seeks to deliver a message through the character; to teach people to be courageous, just as Link himself is. This paired with his reasons for acting would make him an unstoppable force  in the film industry, no matter how he falls short he WILL continue to pursue his goals.

-Every role that Golden has played was relevant to sword wielding, so naturally he knows his way with a blade

-Around Link’s canon age (17, with Golden being 16)

-Around Link’s canon height in most media (5’7, Golden being 5’8-9)

-Very good control over his vocals, can change his voice to nearly everything he wants

-Very precise aim, he’s only used a bow once, but every time he uses something meant for shooting, he never misses

-Taken Tae Kwon Do, so naturally he has above average fighting technique

-Currently taking Criminal Justice at a career center, so his aim, physical strength, and combat abilities will improve soon

As of August of 2024, director Wes Ball has started working on the movie, making this the BEST POSSIBLE time to choose Cameron Golden for the role. But act quickly, as it’s not known how much time is left before casting starts.

Cameron Golden has made it clear that he would be more than happy to work with Sony Pictures and Arad Productions on this project.
