so I reached out to the transportation department and they were able to accommodate me. I also reached out to the SF parents action group who gave me the phone number to the department of transportation with the San Francisco unified school district. 

as this victory is individualized to my child’s school specifically through the district, it also opens door for conversations on getting the services that we need in our community as well
