Video gaming has become an integral part of modern-day culture and can be an escape route for many people from their everyday stress and pressures. The citizens of Syria deserve the same opportunities for this type of entertainment. Currently, many popular gaming platforms, including some games on Steam, Electronic Arts (EA), and Epic Games, are blocked in Syria. This restriction prevents gamers in the county from accessing numerous online games. We want to encourage these gaming companies to reconsider their policy. Let us break the digital divide and help Syrian gamers join the global gaming community especially after the fall of dictator Bashar Al Assad and his criminal regime.
