Further info and call for help from locals that wish to help

Seems some sections are on private land. However, the trails are still there and people do use them in summer. Would be nice to have those maintained by the club in summer, so they are safer and always passable. But for winter access, landowners might not like the trail having two types of vehicles on them. However, it doesn't hurt to pressure the ATV federation to talk with the owners and come up with a plan that works for everyone. So, looks like if ATV federation is game to look into it, we would also need to get landowners onboard for winter ATV access. But - that also means that we as riders, would need to be responsible and not tear up lands on them as well as volunteer with the club to help maintain. I also want to make note of an issue that I noticed every summer since using these trails: There are woodlot owners tearing up the abandoned rail portions of the trails with their tractors and many a times I have followed jeeps, SUVS and big trucks tearing the place up. This has to stop if any of the landowners will be willing to work with us on it. A certain local (I won't name) that had a junk SUV tore the crossing bridge out towards Dufferin.. two years in a row... ad tore up the above mentioned trails. But with proper 4season designation and support from ATV federation, blockades to limit at 50" or 60" could be put in place to stop this from happening completely, like other more-developed trail systems utilize. If anyone is willing to volunteer time into helping develop/maintain this when I present to the federation, please comment on the Petition and let us know. We also have full support already from "RZR Canada" facebook group. The admin has offered his assistance in helping make this happen. There are New Brunswick riders that would love to enjoy this system year-round. Will look next at Property IDs leaving Bridge St Chipman and going towards Cumberland Bay.
