The court hearing has been changed to sometime around December 3rd. More to come on that protest date in the near future.
There will be a House Appropriations Hearing at the State Capitol in Lansing on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. While full details are still pending, Matt from Michigan Duck Rescue has been invited by Representative Ken Borton to speak about the DNR’s overreach and abuse of power.
We would love to have everyone join us in protest at the State Capitol in Lansing on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, during the upcoming hearing. Let’s stand together in support of Michigan Duck Rescue, our waterfowl, and all of our wildlife. More details will be shared soon — but for now, please save the date!
PLEASE, PLEASE continue to share this petition far and wide. When contacting the Governor or State Legislators, include the petition link so they can see that people across Michigan and abroad are speaking out and are fed up with the DNR’s actions. Keep sharing your own experiences, photos, and stories that expose the DNR’s overreach, abuse of power, and cruelty toward wildlife with our elected officials. Every voice helps strengthen this movement for change.
