Hello Everyone, There is currently a paper petition being circulated throughout Michigan for MICHIGAN RESIDENTS ONLY to sign. The petition will be hand delivered to the Governor's Office in hopes that she will place a moratorium on all Mute Swan killing until the DNR proves their claims against them and produce Michigan studies that prove they are detrimental to our environment. I will have a petition booth set up at BYERS Homestead Ugly Duckling Vintage Market in Commerce, Michigan, on August 4, 2019, from 10 to 5. Please come by and show your support and sign the petition. I will also be attending the  SASHA  FARM Humane Fair in Manchester, Michigan on Sunday August 11, 2019, from 12-4. Please come out if you are in the area. I believe I will be in the parking lot as people come and go. Please e-mail me if you would like to help collect signatures on your own or need more information.  I hope to collect signatures through the month of August. The Michigan DNR and the USDA have now slaughtered 11,882 Mute Swans in Michigan. This information was gathered from FOIA's  from 2011 to 2018.
