Hi, my name Ariana and I could use your help. I'm not sure what to do. I want people to be aware of this situation that has occurred.

On January 28th, my cat was brutally murdered by my "grandpa," Norman Denslow. Oreo has unfortunately passed away from this terrible person's actions... this article doesn’t explain the extent of the damage he did to this poor cat. Norman has a severe alcoholism problem and was heavily intoxicated that night. My mom woke up to the noise of thumping coming from the other room and walked into my grandpa's room to see a horrific scene.  Oreo was laying on the floor barely moving and barely breathing.  Norman said the cat bit him so he punched him twice.  We found out many details once the cops arrived. He punched him in the head 10 to 11 times which caused the cat to have internal bleeding in the brain and brain damage. In addition, he threw him against the wall multiple times. Norman Denslow stabbed my cat in the neck and was trying to decapitate him with wire cutters.   I believe this was premeditated directly towards me. Norman Denslow hates me. I am blamed for the death of his dog shadow.

Three years ago, we were in a house fire. We lost our cat siren and our dog shadow. It wasn't anyone's fault, he still blames me. He has multiple times tried to justify the situation by saying he was holding Oreo and the cat randomly bit him. My "Grandpa" hates cats. That is was makes it weird as to why oreo would be in his bedroom. We had to move out of the house immediately because the children and other animals are not in a safe environment around him. We are considered homeless. He also was allowed to keep one of the dogs because he was considered his property. My main goal is to spread awareness and to do everything in my power to get this man off the street and get our dog Cole back. We are scared for our lives because he has been harassing us. We cant get a PFA because we are frightened that he might hurt the other dog in his possession. It's making our situation even harder. He's been harassing my friends and family when he drinks. He has told my aunt that he drove up to where we are living, which is an hour away from him. He then took a picture saying he was outside of where we are staying. He gets intoxicated and says awful things about me, slandering my name. My aunt bought a security camera because none of us are sleeping at night. Our deepest fears and concerns are that Norman will get a slap on the wrist for what he has done and that he is able to own or keep the dog he has in his possession.  Please help us to share this story with friends and any animal activists that you may know.
