I visited Drew yesterday. He mostly wanted me to tell him about this petition, and for me to update him. With over 1600 signatures he is feeling some hope. He told me that hope and imagining himself going home are what gets him through each day. Your comments have moved me to tears. Thank you for openly expressing your feelings and fears. After reading many of your comments it is clear that this is personal for so many of you; many who are parents or grandparents of someone on the autism spectrum. Please share this petition with as many people as you can. Drew’s pardon request is before the governor right now. Time is truly a factor and the more signatures and comments the better. If you wish to ask us a direct question please email at savedrewnow@gmail.com Please use the hashtag #DecriminalizeAutism #savedrew to share on Twitter. Thank you all more than we will ever be able to say in words. With Deepest Gratitude, Jude and John Harrison
