The Issue

I am asking for your support in calling on the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services (SCPPPS) to correct a grave injustice and help restore my freedom, dignity, and the chance to heal.

Over two decades ago, I was maliciously prosecuted* and sentenced to **35 years without parole** for an offense involving what was later proven to be a **toy gun**. The prosecution **knew the weapon was not real**, yet I was **charged and convicted as if it were**.

Adding to the injustice, my co-defendant—who is a **Caucasian female**—received only **three and a half years of probation** for the same offense. This blatant **racial disparity** reveals the deep bias and unequal treatment that continues to plague South Carolina’s justice system.

During my incarceration, I have endured **inhumane and extraordinary conditions**—including exposure to environmental hazards, overcrowding, and unsafe confinement. My **constitutional and human rights have been repeatedly violated**, causing lasting physical, emotional, and spiritual harm.

After decades of reflection, accountability, and growth, I am no longer the man who entered that courtroom. I have become a voice for **Love, Truth, Freedom, Justice, and Peace**—dedicated to helping others find their own second chance. Yet I cannot fully live that purpose while I remain behind bars for a conviction rooted in injustice.

This petition calls upon the **South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services (SCPPPS)** to grant a **full and unconditional pardon** based on:

* **Prosecutorial misconduct and malicious intent**
* **Discriminatory sentencing and racial disparity**
* **Extraordinary confinement conditions**
* **Evidence of rehabilitation and transformation**

**Justice delayed is justice denied.**
Please **sign and share** this petition to help right a wrong and bring healing—not only to me and my family, but to the spirit of fairness and humanity in our justice system.
