Hello Supporters!

We did it! HB1567 has just been identified for the veto list by Governor David Ige! Thank you, Governor Ige! Your support of our community is appreciated!

Mahalo to everyone who supported the efforts to veto HB1567! Special thanks to all of our County Mayors, especially Mayor Rick Blangiardi for leading the charge, our elected officials who voted against it during session, Rep Matayoshi for taking our words to heart, SHOPO, HPD, the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney, Megan Kau for her counsel, and everyone else who helped to keep HB1567 off Governor Ige's signed list by calling and signing our petition.

Let's hope our legislature doesn't push to move it forward. I don't believe they will considering the feedback.

Regardless, everyone has done a great job. You have my utmost thanks and appreciation for keeping our community safe and protected from the dangers HB1567 would create!
