The U.S. Supreme Court denied a stay of execution for an Arkansas killer - one of two scheduled to die by lethal injection Monday evening. The court rejected two stay requests for Jack Harold Jones, 52, convicted in the 1995 rape and murder of a mother in front of her young daughter.
