Arkansas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty

Yesterday, a federal judge blocked the execution of Jason McGehee, whose execution was scheduled for Thursday, April 27th. McGehee was one of the eight Arkansas prisoners on Death Row awaiting execution over a ten day period, beginning on April 17th. Today, the parole board will hear the clemency petition of another of the eight inmates, Jack Harold Jones Jr. If the board approves the petition, his execution will also be stayed. Now is the time to take action—will you retweet the message below to Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson urging him to revoke his assembly line style execution plan for seven men in 10 days? Click here to Retweet: http://bit.ly/2ohl8ps Click here to share on Facebook: http://bit.ly/2nTQNda The parole board has already heard the clemency petitions of four of these men, but U.S. District Judge D. Price Marshall Jr. ruled that their executions will proceed as planned. We need you to take action now, to delay and prevent the execution of Jack Harold Jones Jr. along with the six other remaining inmates on Arkansas Death Row scheduled for death. Please, retweet to Governor Asa Hutchinson or share the petition on Facebook to tell him that we won’t stop until #0in10. Thank you.
