Governor Hochul came into office presenting herself as the friendliest governor to SUNY in New York State history, seemingly aiming to surpass Nelson Rockefeller.  Check out the portion of her 2022 State of the State Address in which she set the goal of "mak[ing] SUNY best statewide system of public higher education in our nation."  When you share this petition with your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and random acquaintances on social media, ask them if cutting 13 degree programs at Fredonia is consistent with that vision!  And let them know that signing the petition will remind the Western New York native of how important Fredonia is to WNY's future!
