Two more horses have been killed at Golden Gate. Yesterday, Smiling Felon was felled while training. The other, Danzing Alydar, was fatally injured (“fell, vanned off”) in a race way back on the 10th. This one I actually knew about when it happened, as a person intimately familiar with the owner had reached out. I chose, however, to wait for a confirmation from the CHRB. 10 days later, it came.
