Publix Launches Campaign; GO GREEN or Opt For Paper Bags!

In the City of Coral Gables, FL Publix has complied with the plastic bag ban ordinance and is embracing reusable bags! They've launched a new corporate campaign called 'Go Green or opt for Paper Bags'. We hope this leads to them removing plastic bags from more of their stores. If you want your stores to drop plastic bags please email Lisa.roberts@publix.com. Publix is providing their customers with paper bags if they choose in Coral Gables. Congratulations to Coral Gables, Commissioner Vince Lago and Publix for making this happen! Ask your local Publix to take the same steps they've taken in Coral Gables!
