Some (not a) news

Cari amici, dear friends,

This message is written in both languages, italian and english.

Ringraziandovi tutti per lo supportare e condividere questa petizione, vorrei condividere con voi stamattina un documento. So che ci saranno reazioni discordanti, gli italiani fra di voi avranno probabilmente una reazione diversa dagli inglesi. Gli italiani che hanno figli hanno visto le proprie vite mutare drasticamente all'annuncio della chiusura delle scuole. Al generale disappunto iniziale di genitori e ragazzi, l'approvazione comune ha seguito senza troppe lamentele perchè si è capito che la vità è piu importante del compito in classe. Gli italiani hanno gia passato questa fase molti, molti giorni fa. La loro reazione è legata alla loro esperienza. 

Qui le scuole sono ancora aperte come sapete, e le raccomandazioni si limitano al contenuto dell'allegato che trovate. Provando a ragionare come razza umana, prima che come cittadino di una specifica nazione, mi chiedo cosa i primi (umani italiani, ma anche cinesi, spagnoli, francesi..) si sentono di raccandare ai secondi (umani e inglesi).

 

Thanking you all for supporting and sharing this petition, I would like to share a document with you this morning. I know there will be discordant reactions, the Italians among you will probably have a different reaction from the British. Italians who have children have seen their lives change drastically when the school closes. To the general initial disappointment of parents and children, the common approval followed without too many complaints because it was understood that life is more important than the classwork. The Italians have already passed this phase many, many days ago. Their reaction is linked to their experience.

Here the schools are still open as you know, and the recommendations are limited to the content of the attachment you find. Trying to reason as a human race, before being a citizen of a specific nation, I wonder what the former (Italian humans, but also Chinese, Spanish, French ..) feel they can recommend to the latter (human English).
