(FR ci-dessous / NL eronder) --- Last Sunday saw the BIG JUMP BXL 2018. More than 120 jumpers and swimmers enjoyed a day in the perfectly clean water of the canal in Anderlecht. While it was a fun day it certainly also conveyed the message to the politicians and media that was present: outdoor swimming is not a luxury but a basic activity, urgently demanded by all inhabitants of Brussels! The communal elections are approaching, it would be great if we could reach 5.000 signatures in the coming 2 months for a strong message to the responsible politicians, convincing them to set the course for outdoor swimming in Brussels by 2020. Plus de 120 sauteurs et nageurs ont passé une journée dans l'eau parfaitement propre du canal d'Anderlecht. Bien que ce fût une journée amusante, elle a certainement transmis le message aux politiciens et aux médias présents: la natation en plein air n'est pas un luxe mais une activité de base, exigée de toute urgence par tous les Bruxellois! Les élections communales approchent, ce serait génial si nous pouvions atteindre 5.000 signatures dans les 2 mois à venir pour un message fort aux responsables politiques, les convainquant de fixer le cap pour la baignade en plein air à Bruxelles d'ici 2020. Hoewel het een leuke dag was, bracht het zeker ook de boodschap over aan de aanwezige politici en media: openluchtzwemmen is geen luxe maar een basisactiviteit, dringend geëist door alle Brusselaars! De gemeenteraadsverkiezingen naderen, het zou geweldig zijn als we de komende 2 maanden 5.000 handtekeningen zouden kunnen halen voor een krachtige boodschap aan de verantwoordelijke politici om hen te overtuigen om volle kracht voor openluchtzwemmen in Brussel tegen 2020 te gaan.
