Where fishing vessels tow their nets into large shoals of fish often catching hundreds of tonnes of fish in one haul then the vessel finds it needs additional fish to load to full capacity so it shoots the trawl net again capturing hundreds more tonnes of fish.  It removes enough fish from this haul to load vessel to capacity.  The remaining catch is dumped dead back into the sea.

In addition to this we now have 100+ dutch beam trawlers now fishing using electric shock fishing which kills or stuns all fish whether edible or not, nothing can survive .

  Commercial fish stocks are down by 80% since the 1950s.
