The country is on the precipitous of another major financial crisis due to the current pandemic.

Please act now to try and reduce the financial, health and mental impacts this virus is having on our society. 

People will NOT properly self isolate if this means they will NOT be able to provide themselves/their families with basic needs such as food and shelter. 

The government must act now, by writing down rent payments over the coming months, to give people the financial confidence to quarantine/self-isolate as is required. **

This means writing off the rent and mortgage period for the affected periods, not just facilitating debt.**

Please note, this is the responsibility of the Government. We cannot rely on trying to pass the financial burden onto landlord.
