A small walk in my shoes
I hear so many critics saying that I should stop being an activist because it's dangerous well let me give you a small walk in my shoes and tell me what you think about that.
Due to the nature of my injury the doctors instructed me to visit a local clinic everyday for dressings.
It was hell of a struggle after a week and some plain clothed security forces came looking for me at the clinic luck enough that day I had skipped my dressing because we had no fuel to transport me from were I lived to the local clinic.
Those days I was living in a remote area were military and police activity was not too much since there were reports of abductions and torture.
The nurses at a local clinic adviced me not to come for they feared that the plain clothed agents could further harm me so as to erase the evidence of their inhuman treatment.
At first I was dressing myself untill we hired a nurse to privately attend to me at home. All thanks to my mum who sacrificed a lot for my well beinf. We bought everything that was needed for me to be treated ,we improvised on a few things ,check the video.
The Gondo family also made contributions to help settle some of the medical bills even though they couldn't cover all of it.
To be honest I never wanted to include the Name Zanu Pf in my Writting but I can not forget what they did to me and my family and for generations I don't think we can vote for such a regime.
I say it is Zanu Pf because the current president is from their cult party ,he never shows sympathy to the victims after the security forces actions undoubtedly protects his/their interests. #Zanupfmustgo
If it was not for the junior doctor who helped me ,I could have been an amputee like what happened to the Epworth women who was shot a day before me I met her father at Parirenyatwa the day I was shot and he gave me strength that my situation was better than her daughter's.
