Dear Friends and Supporters
On 28th April 2022, our friend and ex-British Airways Cabin Crew colleague, Carol Ng, returned to court for her 6th bail hearing. I wish the news was more positive but sadly, I have to let you know that once again her application was denied.
The reason given is that "Carol is having close connection with overseas due to her past experience at HKCTU and she is very likely to spread hate speech about HK police, National Security Act and HK government."
Carol's visiting quota has also been reduced from 2 people everyday to 2 every fortnight, thereby increasing the mental torture on Carol as she does her best to cope with the dreadful situation she finds herself in - brought about after demonstrating for workers rights.
I would ask you to please continue signing and sharing this petition for Carol's Campaign to support her release, along with the 46 other Activists detained at Lo Wu Correctional Institution in Hong Kong.
Thank you
