Dear Friends and Supporters
News has reached us from the Hong Kong Free Press that 29 out of the 47 Defendants detained for the last 17 months at Lo Wu Correctional Facility in Hong Kong - including our dear friend and ex-British Airways Cabin Crew colleague Carol Ng - may be set to plead guilty to charges of alleged conspiracy to commit subversion in one of the city's most high profile national security cases.
Whilst this is not the outcome we had hoped for, we must support Carol and the other Activists as they make life-changing decisions which will, in all likelihood, result in lengthy jail sentences.
All of us who are acquainted with Carol know that she is principled, steadfast and a fighter - her battle with British Airways in the well documented Discrimination Transoceonic Class Action, being just one example of her grit and determination.
Carol needs our help more than ever now so I would ask you to continue signing and sharing this petition.
Thank you
In solidarity
