Today a written statement from the Court is received  indicating that the request to bail Rawal is refused and the judge upholds the statement given against Rawal based on the Police report which is based on false premises. Following are the summary of main accusations mentioned in the police report leading to Rawal's arrest: 
- Rawal was criticizing state and its institutions on megaphone in the PTM rally and creating public nuisance
- He was jeopardizing the sovereignty of the state by criticising state institutions on megaphone. 
- Rawal was creating public safety problem through his speech, as felt by police - therefore charged with violating Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance 1960 and hence the arrest.

Both police and judge are under huge pressure from the state security agencies to keep Rawal in jail. All allegations are based on fabricated facts and also going against the fundamental rights of freedom of speech and association under Pakistan's constitution.
There is a great threat that Rawal will be tortured in jail by police who is famous for brutalising, victimizing and murdering innocent civilians including children.
