WE DID IT TOGETHER! 15K | Day 26....Thank-You-Very-Much!

Hi Friends,

We Did It Together!

15,000 of us united for #moresubvention4utechja at 8:13 am and we thank Kmar for being blessing #15K and Christina for taking us forward...

I am very grateful to you all, our UTech, Jamaica Students (largest sub-group here); staff of UTech, Jamaica; fellow Jamaicans living in Jamaica, and the Diaspora; our Caribbean brothers and sisters, and friends and persons of goodwill towards Jamaica based internationally.

We are here, because of each of YOU. Thank You.

I will move now to get this petition i.e. letter and signatures  to the Office of the Prime Minister and Ministry of Education, Youth and Information. I will update you on that.

As far as I know, up to yesterday, UTech, Jamaica had not received a resolution on their request for the increased subvention from our Government. This, despite attending the 2nd meeting at the end of March 2019, with GOJ, since the February 20th, 2019 meeting on the day of the Joint Union Protest. More than a month more of...waiting....

With the 15K we have only now qualified to approach them with our petition.

The real question is whether the Government of Jamaica will consider this petition? 

If you are person who believes in prayer, please pray for impact.

Please don't stop sharing the petition, as it represents a growing community holding our Govt accountable for their stewardship of national entities. and We must!

I Thank God for the Unity we have achieved on behalf of the University of Technology, Jamaica and I thank each of you for your support of our national University.
