At the outset let me thank all those people who have been supporting this petition throughout these 50 odd days. Although the number of supporters have not grown as per our expectations, but we are optimistic and firmly believe that the winds of change have started to blow and government of India has already taken a note of this growing movement, thanks to our volunteers who submitted memorandum on IDP on world refugee day at approximately 20 locations to the respective DC's and other important city officials. Many of our supporters have come forward with their suggestions and feedback on this petition and hence we are trying to incorporate those changes gradually. One of the key observations of past 2 months is that we need to educate people more on this topic so that all misconceptions regarding IDP are taken care off. In the next phase we are planning a peaceful nation wide protest. The dates of the protest will be conveyed soon to you by IDP coordination committee. I would conclude by requesting all of you to kindly share this petition as much as you can. Each signature recorded strengthens our resolve to take this movement to a logical end. To make this petition work, at least one lac signatures are required and believe me, it is possible with all of us coming together. Imagine the numbers we will achieve even if each supporter gets only 50 odd signatures. I would leave you with this thought and hopefully we will see a surge in the number of supporters. Thanks & Regards Team IDP
