The Issue

Parents who are willing to follow created guidelines should be able to "homeschool" their kids past the nursery level. The school houses are no longer safe places.

We need our kids safe! Too many worried parents are out here.

The teachers themselves are not even safe in schools anymore...are there even security guards or officers patrolling around these schools? After hours?...are there still prayers in the schools? Are there still Bible clubs in the schools? Can "homeschooling" become a part of the trained teachers curriculum?

Too often the headlined are filled with shooting threats, stabbings, sexual immortality, indecent language, alcohol and drugs, bullying and more.

The questions are; what is being done to fix these issues? We are not being pessimists but we are highly concerned and if we cannot be reassured about systems being put in place to remedy these incidents, then we highly recommend allowing us to homeschool our children past nursery, like so many other countries of the developed world. After all, development is what we're seeking as a nation, right?

Please, for their lives sake, for their future's sake, for our hearts sake. Though it has it's disadvantage (like every other pursuit in life), it's advantages cannot be ignored. Many great men and women has been educated that way and have gone on to become world changers also, e.g Florence Nightingale, Isaac Newton, C.S. Lewis, Abraham Lincoln, Venus & Serena Williams, and others too numerous to mention.

Please, draft updated policies that Will make our schools safer places for both teachers and students, but also we ask, draft policies that give us the option of homeschooling them under our care and protection.

Thank you.
