The NCC has officially released the planned meeting minutes for their upcoming Public Meeting on Thursday, June 25th. The memorial will be discussed at 1:00 pm, and again at 1:45 pm according to the meeting minutes released earlier today (http://www.ncc-ccn.gc.ca/…/01.0-2015-06-26-public_agenda.pdf). The members of the board will be discussing the findings collected by the Committee for Planning Design and Realty last month regarding the memorial and the location, which will likely be followed by a vote to approve or disapprove of the design, though this has not yet been confirmed. Being a public meeting, all are welcome to attend. We encourage all of you to stop by if time permits. Additionally, an annual public meeting, at which the public will be permitted to engage with the Board members to discuss NCC’s projects, runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m on Thursday June 25th as well. Let them know what you think about this proposed memorial in person-- because it's a lot harder to ignore someone standing right in front of you!
