Hello fellow critics! On June 6th the Move the Memorial campaign will be holding an informal town hall at the West End Well Coop at 969 Wellington St. W, to discuss recent developments regarding the memorial's location, and to rally support from the public in anticipation of a demonstration we are planning for June 26th, 2015. The night will begin at 7:30, with performances by two local musicians involved with the #MovetheMemorial campaign and will be followed by an informal town hall where we will open the floor to a discussion regarding the proposed plans for the memorial to the victims of communism and future actions we can take to elevate voices of opposition, and #movethememorial. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Half of the proceeds will go to the musicians and the rest will be used to support future demonstrations. The petition is nearly at 5,000 signatures, and should exceed this total by the time we see you on Saturday night! Come out and show your support; the voice of the public must be heard.
