Description;
Cuckooing is a form of crime in which drug dealers take over the home of a vulnerable person in order to use it as a base for drug dealing.

In a world in which county lines and the exploitation of children is becoming more and more prevalent, more and more vulnerable persons are falling victim of cuckooing. There is little police can do on this matter in terms of safeguarding or evicting the unwanted persons, if the door isn’t answered by the occupant or the unsavoury persons inside. 

This petition is to start the ball rolling on providing the police with legislation that allows them power of entry into a property in which they suspect is being cuckooed, or the vulnerable occupants are being taken advantage of.
