thank you everyone much appreciated I’ve been advised by my MP to keep collecting signatures I heard back from the DWP they didn’t tell me anymore than I already knew Discretionary needs to change so our loved ones we have named on our expression of wishes forms are entitled to see how the funds have been dealt with in the event of our death

Your wishes are not legally binding the trustees can dispute funds to who they wish Discretionary allows then to do this you are signing your wishes over to the companies help us reach our goal of 5,000 nearly

My understanding / This does not form part of your estate or probate if you have named a loved one and I can’t see how by removing Discretionary this would make any difference the simple fact is do you want your wishes to be carried out or do you want the wishes of the trustees to be carried out
