A President's missed opportunity and a citizens' call to action

On October 5, 2022, the President of the republic of Ghana had a unique opportunity to meet with our Traditional leaders and more importantly, with his MMDCEs, who happen to be his appointees and representatives in the districts and municipalities in Ghana.

Unfortunately, rather than crack the whip and give them basic KPIs that can be easily measured and graded, our President reiterated his mantra of not working on hearsay but rather on evidence. when it comes to holding his appointees accountable.

We are not disappointed because we did not expect much. However, even then, the reality of this is daunting. Hence our call to fellow citizens. This is our 16th century Slave trade moment. Are we going to fail even as monumental failure from our political leaders stares us in the face?
