Allow Texas inmates to make telephone calls to friends in Europe who use Magic Jack or other VOIP
Das Problem
I would like to propose the following petition for the Magic Jack, or similar permission be granted which allows European´s to receive phone calls from Texas prisoners. I, like many others, have prisoner friends who can only contact us via postal service. This is a long, tedious process. Other states allow their prisoner to call Europe. TDCJ was one of the last State Penitentiary to install payphones. Magic Jack, Skype and other VOIP are legal companies which facilitates this. Please consider the request. Many Europeans desire phone contact with our Texans loved ones in prison. I am one voice of many.
