Gosford Council no more

Hello, the NSW Government has sneakily sacked all of the councillors on the Gosford Council, as well as Wyong and amalgamated us without having the decency to even consult us. According to local media, the councillors and mayors were sacked in a pretty cruel way too. What's done is done - We're going to continue with the petition, but amend the petitions to identify the Central Coast Council as the new recipient. We have an action group set up now with a good number of members and supporters. Our group's name is Peninsula Flood Group. We will be working with the new council to keep the pressure on them to clean out our storm water drains and channels, as well as upgrading our storm water drains so they can cope with the modern day demands of much higher density housing. Please share this with others and get them to sign.
